FAQ/CDC Guidelines
Q: Do you follow CDC Recommendations?
A: As the owner and sole practitioner, I am fully vaccinated, adhere to CDC Guidelines, and am Certified in ‘Best Business Practices in the Time of Covid19’. These practices include scheduling appointments well-apart so there is never more than one client in the office at any time, and allows for the treatment room to be thoroughly sanitized between sessions. A HEPA filtration device is used in the treatment room. I wear a face mask at all times, and perform a brief Covid intake screening of all clients on their arrival. Clients are requested to wear a face mask when they enter the studio, which may be removed in the treatment room (if you do not have a face-mask, a disposable mask will be provided). Your health & well-being is my primary concern and I look forward to providing you with the best of care.
Q: How do I make an appointment?
A: The best way to book an appointment is to contact me directly at 347.864.4439, and we can discuss your needs and options. Your appointment will be secured through SquareUp, and you’ll receive an email reminder the day before your session to confirm the appointment. You can use this BOOK AN APPOINTMENT link, which will direct you to SquareUp, where you can book the service of your choice.
Q. What are your Payment Options?
A. I accept cash, all major credit cards, PayPal and Venmo (LilithBeitchman@Lilith-Beitchman). To secure your appointment a credit card or gift certificate number is required. Payment can be made on the day of your appointment with cash, credit card, and/or gift certificate. I do not hold CCs on file but have that option should a client wish to keep their card on file for their convenience.
Q. How do Gift Cards work?
A: Gift Cards can be purchased in any amount and are available in cardstock or as an eGift LINK. They are not transferable or redeemable for cash or credit, and Lilith’s Studio can not be responsible for lost Gift Cards.
Q: What is your Cancellation Policy?
A: Your appointment time is reserved especially for you. I know that sometimes schedule adjustments can’t be avoided. For expectant moms approaching their due date, it’s more than understood that something may come up, including going into labor! To allow me time to inform standby clients of an available appointment, at least 24-hours-notice for cancellations is essential.
- Notification given at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time will receive no charges.
- Notification given less than 24 hours prior to your appointment time, will result in a 100% charge of the reserved service.
Please be advised that if you are more than 30 minutes late for your appointment, I may not be able to provide your scheduled service and a cancellation fee may apply.
Q: What are your hours?
A: Appointments are available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and on some weekday evenings by special request. It’s best to book your appointment 1-2 days ahead. If you book through my website or directly through SquareUp, you are required to book 1 day in advance. Should you find yourself in need of a last-minute appointment, text or call 347.864.4439 and I will do my best to accommodate you.
Q. How can I find out about promotions and special offers?
A: It’s easy! Visit my Facebook page, my Instagram page, or check out my website to learn about discounts, promotions and special offers. Better yet, sign up for my newsletter at www.lilithsstudio@gmail.com and get advance notifications of specials and promos sent directly to your inbox. Along with special promotions throughout the year and a 10% Birthday Month discount.
* For all special offers and promotional pricing, only one offer may be used per service.
Q: I’m pregnant. Is it okay for me to have a prenatal massage?
A: A prenatal massage is not recommended until you approach your 20th week - with the approval of your OB/GYN. At the time of your first visit you will be asked to confirm your OBGYN’s consent.
Q: Do you offer Postnatal Massage?
A: Yes, I see postpartum women for massage services. A new mother can really benefit from a nurturing, restorative massage. For nursing mothers, I perform a side-lying treatment. This Postnatal service is frequently booked along with a scalp massage, for an additional 15 minutes of absolute bliss. For those rare times when you can manage to find time away from your newborn, booking a 75-minute treatment is the perfect solution for new moms who need some serious 'me time'.
Q: Where can I purchase the skincare products that you use or recommend for me?
A: My own hand-crafted skincare products, along with Brooklyn Herborium’s Between You & the Moon Products, are available for purchase in limited quantities and are sold exclusively to clients who receive a service. Out-of-stock items will be ordered for you, and will be available at your next visit.
Q: Are the products that you use vegan-friendly?
A: All of the oils and aromatherapy products I use are 100% natural and have not been tested on animals. There’s only one product that I use that is not totally vegan. It contains milk powder. Just let me know your preference and you’ll receive a totally vegan-friendly experience! And don’t forget to let me know about any dietary or topical restrictions you may have at your initial intake exchange.
Q: Can you tell me about the CBD products that you use.
A: I use Hempfield Botanicals’ products exclusively for my CBD Enhanced Massage treatment. After doing extensive research on CBD producers and their products, I chose Hempfield’s line because they are THC-free, grown in the USA, vegan, and triple-test certified.
Q: What services are available for men?
A: All of my Massage and Facial services are available for men (with the exception of prenatal massages, though I do offer a Labor Day Special for Mom’s & Dad’s-to-be). I also have a Father’s Day treatment specifically designed to pamper Dad on his special day, and Gift Certificates are available.
*Male clients who book a facial, should shave the day before - Not on the day of their appointment.
Q: Do you see teenagers?
A: Yes, I see 16-year olds with approval, by way of a consent form signed by a parent. A child younger than 16 must be accompanied by a parent. For teens with problem skin I have a series of three 60-minute sessions designed to heal and repair the skin. The package includes a starter product kit as well as a personalized system developed for each client, with the goal of establishing a daily regimen that will last a lifetime.
Q: I wear contact lenses. Is it okay to wear them during a massage or a facial?
A: The fact that you wear contact lenses is noted during the intake that’s done at your first session. It’s fine to wear contacts during your massage or facial service, but be sure to let me know that you’re wearing them. If you request targeted work around the eyes as part of a facial, you may wish to remove them.
Q: Do you offer couple’s massages, or see more than one client at a time?
A: I work exclusively on one client at a time, but there is the option to book appointments back-to-back. While one individual is being treated, the other client can benefit by using the time to relax and forget the world outside, while enjoying a warming cup of herbal tea and a light snack in the extremely private and peaceful reception area. Mothers and daughters, couples, partners, friends, brides-to-be and her bridesmaids, are all welcome to enjoy a spa afternoon or evening together at Lilith’s Studio.
Q. What is the ideal frequency of treatment?
A. It depends on the individual, but I strongly recommend getting a massage or facial treatment at least once a month. Twice would be even more beneficial, and during a difficult or stressful time in your life, a weekly massage can be immensely helpful.
Q. What advice can you offer a first-time client?
A: Below are a few things you should know about having a massage or facial session at my studio:
- For your comfort, do not eat immediately before a treatment. I recommend that you schedule meals at least one hour prior to your appointment.
- During your session you will be treated with special herbal infusions and oils, so please don't wear perfume, heavy aftershave, or strongly scented lotions that might interfere with your treatment.
- Good communication assures the best results. If you have allergies, or injuries, or require special attention for a specific part of your body, please let me know so I can help relax and ease problem areas; and please understand that recovery from tension or muscle injuries may require more than one session.
- Drinking plenty of water for at least two hours following your treatment will aid the therapeutic process.
